Climbed with Jim on a showery day, however, luck held up and tops were clear as we summited. Left Dalmunzie House at 11:30 and carried on up the old railway up to the ruined lodge, then the land rover track to the summit as the second summit looked deceptively close. We descended NNE to the path then E to the summit of Carn an Righ where great views of the Lairig Ghru and the Cairngorms could be seen. Beinn lutharn Mhor also looked close and within climbing distance, but that is for another day. After a decent back to the wonderfully atmospheric Loch nan Eun we followed the waterfall down into Gleann Taitneach appreciating the wild flora by the burn and the sight of almost 100 deer on the hillside to our left where they were enjoying some safe pasture before the stalking season in a couple of weeks after which there might not be so many left. Arrived back at the car 6:30 after two fairly easy munros with albeit a long but enjoyable walk in weather better than that forecasted. Magic!!!
