We followed the route shown on walkhighlands for these two mountains and found it to be a cracking walk. Lovely looking around now, especially with being so familiar with most of the surrounding areas :D :D :D :D :D

Cheers dogplodder, one Ritchie would have loved too. However, he stayed at home as we were headed for Skye and potential Cuillin adventure. Maybe I will take him back here :D :D :D

How old is Jack now? Hope he is bearing up fine for his age......Ritchie-boy is nine next week and still looking good in the hills, but I know that perhaps he will be slowing down too. Wonderful boys they are :)

Looks like the three of you had a great day :D Bit of a trudge back to the car though as I seem to recall.

Jack and Ritchie are the same age! Jack's a rescue from Ireland so we don't know exact DOB but worked out he was born late August 2004 so he's 9. But this summer he's slowed down and hasn't coped all that well with the heat. The last Munro I took him on was Sgurr a' Mhaim and he looked exhausted. Tess is a few months older but from the working side and a lighter build so she coped much better. Or maybe it's because girls are tougher...
