The AE Ridge

My sis joined me today for this cracking wee Corbett near Kinlochleven.
Passed the campsite Caolasnacon on the left and parked just before the bridge in a layby on the right hand side of the road. Not much to say in terms of navigating but a nice wee hill with some nice views.

I found a path just after the Allt Gleann a Chaolais and followed this south east for 1km. We then picked up a faint path and headed east straight up the ridge towards the summit of Garbh Bheinn. There is a great path all the way up to the summit. With great views over towards the Aonach Eagach ( I can imagine - though not today ) and back towards the Pap of Glencoe and over Loch Leven. We reached the summit in 2hours 20 minutes

We stopped for some pictures and then headed back down the same way stopping for lunch once out of the clouds. Lots and lots of stops along the way and back to the car in 4 hours 30 minutes.
