Galeforce Conachcraig from Loch Muick
Posted: Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:09 pmWas meant to stay low on a walk due to high wind being forecast. Walked from Glen Muick, but as there was quite a few people going up Lochnagar though I'd cross of Conachcraig off my corbett's list.
Walked with Carol and as per usual got chatting too much and ended up following the familiar Lochnagar route instead of turning to go up Conachcraig. I think due to the fact that Meikle Pap was so much bigger than it, I just had in my mind it must be it. Still a nice bit of excercise and gave me a nice photo of the peaks.
Did all 3 of the summits, though if I could have decided wheter the first one was highest I would have left the other 2 because it was literally blowing us off our feet.
