The Blue Danube on Ruadh-stac Mor!

This report is a bit of a cheat because we didn't do the whole circuit proposed by WH, we did however do both Munros and then the ridge from Spidean Coire nan Clach to Ruadh-stac Mor twice, and though less in miles than descending into Coire Mhic Fearchair, the additional ups and downs amply tested our endurance levels, plus of course the views and feel of the ridge are different in each direction.

And now for something completely different: It is rare to have the pleasure of seeing two folk you met for the first time in your life on one end of the mountain, dance a little waltz to the Blue Danube at the other end of the mountain! This was the result of our conversation on Spidean Coire nan Clach whilst enjoying the midge-free views and sunshine, and came to fruition just before the summit cone of Ruadh-stac Mor. I hope the video worked, I think that is one of the "coolest" things I've ever sung to, should have taken my fiddle!

We also saw a very large herd of deer on the grass near to Ruadh-stac Mor, and someone crawling on all fours up the grassy scree just below Ruadh-stac Mor to avoid the notorious gully!

Thanks to the WH community for all the great reports and photos that detail this mountain, every little helps, as it says in the advert!
