KMC weekend away to Roybridge. Seven of us went up on the Friday night with the guy's planning the Creag Meagaidh Circuit and the girls opting for a Corbett further towards Laggan.
The weather was amazing, beautiful sunshine and plenty of cloud inversion early on. We were glad that no fresh snow had fallen and therefore the going was made a lot easier. A lot of folk were out making the most of the conditions and in particular at least 6 climbers were spotted on the cliffs of Meagaidh....rather them than me!!!
With me on Meagaidh today were Alan, Ian and Bert.
Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
