Hi
As the thread says we had a close encounter with death on nevis trying to climb ledge Route so was picked up by JIm Ramsay at 710 on a glorious morning that was looking good
we parked the car at the north face car park then headed up through the forest up to the CIC hut we then reevaluated and established gully 5 was the one in front so we headed up and by the time we started to enter the gully it started raining and the temperature started dropping there was one section Jim couldn't manage so he then found out this was the wrong route as we seen the real route and was slippy and was gleaming due to the wet we found it hard getting back down from the false route and rochs flying everywhere made us think TURN BACK TIME so we just headed back after a coffee reevaluating the circumstances we where in so turned the walk into admiring the north face of nevis rather than risking our lifes continuing on further to the unknown
images bellow
Sorry images are back to front in order
thanks for viewing and comments welcome
