Started from the car park near Rhives and took the waymarked path up towards the monument. We carried on along the track, leaving it as it started to bend downhill and headed across to Beinn Lunndaidh. If you're not a bagger of the Subs i wouldn't recommend leaving the track for this one as it was a bit squelchy underfoot. We returned from the summit by heading towards the Lochan and picking up the path that took us back to the track. Followed this, checking the map at junctions to avoid the mountain bike routes. We then picked up the original path that lead back to the car park.

Is that the cairn beyond the statue on the right, and how far away is it from the statue?

The summit trig is about 2km from the statue in a north north easterly direction.
