Walkhighlands

Did this walk on my own, got their first so no problem parking. I could see the top when I arrived but it didn't stay that way long. With all the recent rain it is indeed very wet in the middle and I eventually had wet feet to contend with. I should have used my new boots, but wanted an easier walk to try them on. Views along the glen for a wee while but cloud and drizzle kept getting in the way. Nearer the top I sheltered to let one shower pass standing behind a convenient very large boulder.
There were grouse lower down, then mountain hares and eventually ptarmigan nearer the top. A deer stalker in an ATV followed me up, but I didn't see any deer. Through the cloud eventually got to the top. Had my lunch in the shelter around the trig point. Got a glimpse of the reservoir in Glen Lyon and that was it. Took my boots off and wrung out my socks, then walked back down. Started to meet people coming up. Cars were parked all along the road when I got back.
Dried my feet and changed back into dry socks and trainers for the drive home. It got me out of the house anyway.
