Forgot to add this in my blog. Completed on 18th July 2013 in shorts / t-shirt. Was roasting.

IMAG0003.jpg
started off heading easterly up the path by the radio mast

IMAG0008.jpg
now i could've headed straight up to the top then beared right (south) for the 1st summit, but i went to check out the bothy 1st

IMAG0010.jpg
the bothy

IMAG0011.jpg
nice woodburner for the colder nights ;

IMAG0015.jpg
looking up to the summit of Creag leacach. Nice easy going at this point

IMAG0016-creag_leacach.jpg
the summit of Creag Leacach, 1 down, 8 to go.

IMAG0018.jpg
and off we go over the scree for no.2, Glas Maol

IMAG0021.jpg
nice wee shelter built from rocks and scree, handy in winter ;

IMAG0025-glas_maol.jpg
at the summit of no.2 Glas Maol

IMAG0027.jpg
heading for no.3, Cairn of Claise, quite boring and featureless at this part

IMAG0029-cairn_of_claise.jpg
on the summit of Cairn of Claise, next, Tom Buidhe

IMAG0033.jpg
heading for Tom Buidhe, again, featureless and glad i had a good day for it.

IMAG0035-tom_buidhe.jpg
on the summit of no.4, Tom Buidhe

IMAG0036.jpg
heading for no.5, Tolmount

IMAG0037-tolmount.jpg
summit of no.5, Tolmount

IMAG0038-tolmount.jpg
starting to feel a river running down my back now, on we go for no.6, Carn an Tuirc

IMAG0039.jpg
it's quite a slog over all the scree to reach the summit of no6, Carn an Tuirc, the final Munro of this circuit that's East of the A93 / Ski Centre

IMAG0041-carn_an_tuirc.jpg
Scree ridden summit of Carn an Tuirc. A very long walk back down to the A93 now to reach no.7, Carn Aosda

IMAG0042.jpg
A very long walk back down from no.6, Carn an Tuirc, to the A93, to reach no.7, Carn Aosda. The 1st of the 3 Munro's west of the A93 / Ski Centre

IMAG0044.jpg
after crossing the A93, head East straight up the heather for a quick ascent to the summit of no.7, Carn Aosda

IMAG0045-carn_aosda.jpg
the summit of no.7, Carn Aosda with no.9, The Cairnwell in the background. Legs are like lead now ;

IMAG0048.jpg
and continuing on for no.8, Carn a'Gheoidh

IMAG0049-carn_a'gheoidh.jpg
at the summit of no.8, Carn a'Gheoidh. Legs are absolutely lobster red with sunburn at this point. You have to backtrack now for no.9, The Cairnwell

IMAG0050-the_cairnwell.jpg
at the summit of no.9, The Cairnwell. All i did then was head east, straight back down the heather to the car park. going down was more painful on the legs that going up. 9 munro's bagged though and a massive feel good factor ;;

what a great feeling of achievement after this circuit. really had to push myself after no.6 but kept up the fight and managed them all.
