Lovely autumnal day, crisp under foot but with clear blue skies. The ascent looked impossible from the car park but turned out to be not as bad as it first seemed. The traverse of the ridge was awesome in such good visibility with all the surrounding hills showing off in all their splendour, especially Bidean.
