First time walking up Glen Sloy so was a bit nervous about all the signs about pedestrian access due to work being done but it was simple enough and the work at the substation didn't interfere at all. Once beyond all the works it was quiet once more. Weather was variable with cloud coming and going. The cairn has grown a wee bit from its description in the walk here and the erosion on the path at start makes it more obvious. Wet going up and started steep with the final third of the climb steeper still.

Got to the top of this bit and disappeared into cloud. Stayed that way at the top. Had my lunch in the lee of the rocks to west of path. It didn't change any so made my way back down. Views opened up a bit as I reached the drop down again. I could see the dam and loch directly below me.

The cloud didn't leave it clear for long though. A bit of an effort going down too. It cleared up as I walked back along the road and by Lomond side, the sun was shining. Oh well.
