Looking forward to a dander in the Cairngorms .We all decided to give it a miss due to the high winds which was forcast no point in being on the plateau in 50 mph winds . Dumyat is another hill I drive past while working si it was its turn to be nabbed.
Having heard this was a busy wee hill an early start was required . So the start point was on the sherrifmuir road the layby across from the reservoir The hill is pretty easy to pick up so I followed the faint path through the fields to the lochan then I [picked up the well worn path that takes you to the memorial cairn a 10 min stop then over to the hill fort cairn good views down the forth valley then back to the car time took 2hrs a nice wee walk.
