Best to avoid Kincardine to Culross, and cycle rest of this section
2. NQ to Burntisland 18.5km
NQ - Inverkeithing - Dalgety Bay - Aberdour (Silversands) - Burntisland

3. Burntisland to East Wemyss 18.75km
Burntisland - Kirkcaldy - Dysart - West Wemyss - East Wemyss

Kinghorn Cliffs (above Burntisland) give great views of the islands of the Forth - Inchmickery, Inchcolm, Cramond

East Wemyss - Leven - Lundin Links - Lower Largo
Start at Wemyss caves, finish on the beach but in between is heavy industry and best avoided

5. Lower Largo to St Monans 14km
Lower Largo - Elie - St Monans
Chain walk is at Kincraig Hill, before Elie

Elie lies directly opposite North Berwick, lighthouse at Elie
There are toilets at Elie but they are not always open
6. St Monans - Pittenweem - Anstruther 5.75km
Windmill just outside St Monan's
St Fillan's Cave, Pittenweem, need to get key from the coffee shop
7. Anstruther to Crail 6.75km
Views to the Isle of May and the Bass Rock
Best to get bus to Crail then walk back to Anstruther, get chips at Anstruther Fish Bar

Boat trips for the Isle of May leave from Anstruther
8. Crail to Kingbarns 9.5km
Remote area, tidal route, best to avoid altogether
9. Kingsbarns to St Andrews 13.5km
one way walk only, best just to do the Rock and Spindle walk from St Andrews
