Three months since I'd been out so was raring to go for this one, I picked Dave up form the airport the night before and the alarm was set early. We were booted at the Lawers Hotel car park by 8am and walking in the early morning sunshine.

We turned off straight after the horn carver and headed up the path through the trees and ferns. Midgies were out, can't wait for it to get cold  .

We continued up the Lawers burn before heading off towards Meall Greigh.

Suddenly the cloud came down spoiling our views all the up to the top of Sron Mhor. Luckily the cloud started to break and giving us views of the impressive moody Coire Nan Cat.

No views from the summit, but once we dropped off the summit we got great views to the north.

Unfortunately as we climbed up to Meall Greigh we came back into the cloud, which just seemed to be sticking to the tops.

Again once we dropped down off the summit we got our first view of An Stuc.

We followed the path before stopping for some lomo (Spanish cured pork fillet :D ) and then headed up the steep but short ascent. At this point we started to meet other and were soon on the summit.

We dropped down to the bealach with Ben Lawers and headed down the Lawers burn. The path was initially boggy but soon improved and we were able to enjoy the autumn afternoon sunshine.

Once back at the Lawers Hotel it was only polite for us to have a pint and some food before heading off.

Really enjoyable walk!
