:( would love 2 have got to the top but gale force winds and heavey snow and rain had the beaten of the group turned back about 800mt.still when we got down had nice warm drinks at the green welly,will be back soon 2 do it again.peterd

No doubt you did the right thing. You'd have had about 100 metres to go but if you were getting seriously blown about, then the best option is to leave it for another day.
