Not sure WH was even in existence when I did this hill. Route as per Chalmers & Storey's 'One Hundred Hill Walks Around Edinburgh' . Start and finish is at Carlops village and takes in North Esk Reservoir Bore Stane, East Cairn Hill itself and Baddinsgill Reservoir. North Esk was the highlight for me, a lovely secluded spot with a water house. Been back there more recently and still impressed.
