Beinn an Lochain

Did this walk with the Stirling Hill Walking Club where 10 of us took to the hill. It was boggy and wet at the bottom but quickly became more solid the higher up we got. Reached the snow level and put our spikes on before tackling the steepest and most heavily snow covered top. Had to let a walking group come down as we made the last climb, just where the path is narrow, so took a wee while and felt like christmas shopping.
The views all the way up were great and the top although cloudy was clear all the way to the sea.
A great walk and a great test of my new spikes, which worked well.

Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully we'll see you out with us again.

I really enjoyed the walk on Sunday. This hill had been on my radar for some time and it did not disappoint, what a fantastic hill. Rocky, step and being covered in snow just added to the whole atmosphere.
