On my own again, Naomi doing final day of assignments. Sunny weather, largely without cloud, above freezing and the snow on the Munros had largely melted (wouldn't have had a problem going up one). Intended to add S2k Ben Clach but decided against it as it would have meant walking back to car in the dark, took about an hour to get down to the car from where would leave the track for Ben Clach.
The Donalds were covered with long, tufty, boggy grass, real ascent much larger than from gps planner due to all the big hags!

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
