Gang all present for Charlies return to the hills.
Weather better than forecast, only light rain and winds less than the 30-40mph predicted.
Bit of a ramble across the hill with no definate path. Faint path follows the Crom Allt and cuts back across the hill several times, eventually just follows the ridge past the old mine and fence.
Topped out in 1 hr 55 mins and had Senga's Lentil & Pepper soup at the cairn (soup dragon is back in production - yum).
3 hrs 30 mins in all, went to the Tyndrum Hotel for lunch and a beer.
No photos today as we had Charlie and Steve to fight it out for the David Bailey honour.
Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
