Mount Eagle en-route fae Dingwall rail station - Inverness bus station.

Btw my GPS gives ascent as 344m, which is more believable than the 596m given by Walkhighlands [c. x2 as is usual], mebbe it's adding the descent to the ascent?

Your photos are getting darker and darker! I like those twighlight ones crossing the Kessock Bridge.

Managed to persuade my wife to cycle over the high road between Culbokie and Munlochy last autumn (although we didn't visit the actual summit of Mount Eagle). She wasn't too pleased!

Things must be getting desparate in bagging land if you need to make a 6 hour round trip just for Mount Eagle

Desperate twilight indeed - moi ma's bought me a super-duper new camera but it's got instructions - so if all else fails ah'll mebbe tak a shuftie...

If only it'd bin a wee 6hr round trip - took 5hr just tae get tae Dingwall. Still I reckon it was worth it tae get the 1st proper [fae sea-level], ascent. According tae Walkhighlands it wiz 598m ascent but prob'ly ma gps is closer [344m].

Or an Eagle mountain for fans of The Eagles, by sheer coincidence i'm listening to them right now  I'd like to see Normans count as well, if he's willing to put them up

You need a different name and style of writing for us not to be able to hop back there and "guess" 132 Norman. Happy Xmas. I have eaten all our mince pies already, so if you are climbing a Marilyn I haven't done in the near future, just put one by the cairn in a squirrel proof box and p-m me. Of course, you may not have put all you have done on Scottishhills either, so I stand to be corrected.
