We love the Cairnwell!

A perfect day to do the Cairnwell hills,a good way for Charlie to get 3 Munro's onto his account and if all was going well a chance of a bonus Corbett for me and Kev
Setting off at 825;

After a refreshment and a bite to eat it was off on the trek to Carn a Gheoidh,easy walking over the hard packed snow,still a strong cold wind though

Now we had a decision to make,we could either return to the car or head over to the Invercauld bothy and onto Ben Gulabin where we had cunningly left another car,a vote of 2 to 1 was in favour of heading to Gulabin(sorry Kev )so off we went again crossing solid ground making for easy walking;

and that was it,would never have thought that we'd have one of our best ever hill days on the Cairnwell hills but get them on a day like this and they're really not that bad,the wee detour to Ben Gulabin also made a wee change to the route,so it's a big to the Cairnwell for me Charlie and Kev

Cheers guys,first time i done the Cairnwell hills was a miserable wet and windy day with no views so Saturday was a right bonus
