After 1 day back in the office a hill trip was required. We started at Garva Bridge about 9.30.
Turning right over the bridge we headed to the left side of the copse. Unfortunately we didn't turn off to the left where the path splits as we were distracted by the deer. Before we gained to much height we crossed the glen to the river.
So far we were below the snow line and it didn't feel like we were making any height. The path soon cut right with the stream and the ground became steeper. Didn't take long before we were in the remnants of loose wet snow at which point we crossed the stream.
After crossing we were soon on the main shoulder where the temperature dropped, this helped as the snow became firmer. There were no other foot prints so it looked like we had the hill to ourselves. As we reached the cairn we saw two others arriving from the north side of the hill.
By this point the wind was up and the temperature was dropping so after a quick lunch we headed down.
We decided to stay high following the eastern shoulder and hopping over the streams making great progress before we were soon back at the car park.
