Bidean nam Bian is the whole range of peaks on the south side of Glencoe... This amazing massif offers unbelievable
views, challenging terrain and some easy scrambling...
It didn't take long before gaining the eastern ridge of Stob Coire nan Lochan...
With the weather improving and the clouds dispersing, the day ahead was looking promising...
The lower slopes of Stob Coire nan Lochan soon gave way to the rough, rocky and bare eastern ridge...
The initial scrambling was not serious...

Shortly after reaching the summit of Stob Coire nan Lochan, we were given our first view of Bidean nam Bian...
The views towards Diamond Buttress and Collie's Pinnacles where simply outstanding...
After a short fuel stop, we began to climb...
From the Bealach it is a short and straight forward ridge to the summit of Bidean nam Bian... This section is steep in places, but height is gained quickly...

With the last summit of the day only a short 20 minutes... We blitzed Stob Coire Sgreamhach!
