It was a beautiful sunny day. For our walk we took standard Brothers Ridge route but in opposite direction.
It was more convenient for us because we stayed in the Chuanie Inn hotel.

The Cluanie Inn hotel. The path to Brothers Ridge is located on the left side of the car park.

We started our walk at 6.45 am

Sunrise in the mountains. The birth of a new day. For the sake of this you should come here!

Sometimes the photographer can lose balance.

View of Corbett Am Bathach.

IMG_1824.JPG
We have a wonderful view of the Brothers Ridge. Lets go forward!

IMG_1825.JPG
I was delighted - first munro of the day! I began to congratulate my husband ... but he calmed me down, it was just intermediate summit at 854 m.

IMG_1828.JPG
The weather great, the mood too !

IMG_1834.JPG
It turns out we are not alone here - friendly company of deer ahead of us.

IMG_1837.JPG
Photo of Ciste Dhubh munro done with high magnification. Looks very seriously.

IMG_1841.JPG
The sun still shines. But the wind was blowing harder.

IMG_1853.JPG
Looking back to Sgurr an Fhuarail.

IMG_1859.JPG
The first munro of the day - Aonach Meadhoin!

IMG_1861.JPG
View of the continuation of the route. On the left: South Glen Shiel Ridge. Looks beautiful!

IMG_1865.JPG
The bealach between Aonach Meadhoin and Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg.

IMG_1867.JPG
The path passes through a stony area. Going down is not difficult, but you have to be careful - watch out where to put your foot.

IMG_1870.JPG
... and again up between rocks.

IMG_1876.JPG
Beauty! Stand high and gaze far ... As in a fairy tale!

IMG_1882.JPG
Nice view of Srath a'Ghlas-choire ridge.

IMG_1884.JPG
Stony areas of this route look very picturesque.

IMG_1887.JPG
A short rest. I sit admiring wonderful views around.

IMG_1892.JPG
The second munro has opened to our sight. Looks serious! Decided to leave backpacks here, we will pick them up on our way back from summit.

IMG_1893.JPG
Short ridge to the summit of Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg.

IMG_1900.JPG
Yes!!! Second munro of the day! And my fifth total! Breathtaking!

Back to main ridge.
Image
We continue our way. Nice view of Five Sisters of Kintail. Very impressive! It is a pity that this beautiful route my husband walked without me.
Image
Steath an Fhraoch-choire ridge.
Image
When seen from afar, this place has caused us concern and in wet weather can be dangerous. A little more attention and this dangerous place passed.
Image
Stony site on descent.
Image
The path finds an easy course down to the bealach.
Image
Beautiful rocks but are not dangerous, we went around to the right.
Image
Rocks of whimsical form.
Image
Last munro of the day - Saileag. I and the mountains. Here it is my happiness. It is simple.
Image
The final part of the Brothers route. The first munro of the Five Sisters of Kintail is clearly visible.
Image
Views of the South Glen Shiel Ridge. This will be our next trip, but tomorrow we will have one day rest.
Image
On way down to the bealach on Lapain.
Image
The road is below already visible. We shall go down here. Very abruptly!
Image
The middle of descent. A footpath deep eroded, stones mobile. During a rain descent requires great care.
Image
We safely descended down the ridge. Now it is necessary to pass a small stream.
Image
And here is the road. The route was successfully passed.

Now we have to wait for the bus and go back to the hotel.
Great day in Kintail!

Great pictures, tamaara. There's a lot more snow on the hills today than when you did that ridge! It looked like a beautiful day.

These are beautiful photographs - especially liked the morning ones over to Ciste Dubh and then later of the 5 Sisters. The Brothers don't get the same attention as their spiky siblings but I loved them! :D
