Spring meet of the LARB not quite L&R only Met pigeon at the Old Tilt carpark and off by 0750 hrs . This was done as per the WH route a nice dry day no wind low cloud sitting about 600m , 300m lower than mwis predicted .
Set off at a good pace left the track at Gilberts bridge through the diamond gate then followed the path to the stone bridge crossing a small gorge then headed upGleann Mhairic . Got to the small bridge crossing Allt Mhairic then had a brew before we tackled the steep assault up BH . Got to the leaning cairn and the low cloud at 1030hrs . FRom then it was a viewless catch the pigeon slog up to the top once we got to the top there is the two smallest cairns ever seen time to top 1130hrs was going to extend the walkto do Beinn a Chait then down onto Elrig But with MWIS predicting doom and gloom we headed back down the way we come where we stopped at the bridge and had a brew and a bite to eat .
The route back was the same untill we got to Gilberts crossed over the river and followed the road back to the carpark time finnished 1400hrs not stopping for a customary amber nectar but back for the national . A good and straight forward day the end of my slow meanderings .
