We climbed Tom a' Choinich several years ago, in 2003. It was my 3rd munro, so it was enough for us having climbed that summit, and we didn't mind leaving Toll Creagach alone. We took the south-east ridge of Tom a' Choinich. There was a path all the way long which was steep but without any difficulties (as far as I remember). It was a nice day out although it rained a bit on the way down and although we didn't find a walking pole.

Now for some pictures which are 5 years old:

Dirk has disappeared and turned into a scarf!

I think you are right about doing the walk the other way round to avoid toiling up an empty slope to Toll Creagach so we have reversed our route description. Just in case anyone thought they were going mad :)

Not quite! I was standing there with my scarf posing for pictures when someone came and turned me ... into a triangulation pillar! If anyone happens to climb Bidean a Ghlas Thuill please save me. But please don't beat on my head! I think this doesn't help.
