Beinn a Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich

Weather: Peerless. Clear blue skies, no wind.
Why: Not a lot happening on the work front. Awesome weather.
Whither: From Castles Farm, anti-clockwise route. Decided to get the steep stuff done early and struck up Beinn Eunaich. That was ok if pathless, but when I got that out of the way, the hill went on forever! I don't mind saying it was a real mental battle to get to the first top. Once that was sorted, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of the walk. Views to what I think is 5 finger gully on Ben N and of course the back of Cruachan were outstanding. Heading back off Chocuill the long ascent to the first top is clear, and very long! Glad I didn't have to do that again, but eventually pleased I did it that way as the descent off C is a lot easier on the knees than that off E.
With: Self. Met loads of folks going the other way, good chat with all.

Have fun. There's no snow on the paths, so no need for ice axe etc, but plenty around, making for great end of winter views.
