I do exactly the same route as you from Wednesday.

The snow is still strongly present it?

Have you tried ice ax and crampons?

Hi - it's a great walk. There were no midges. There is snow in parts and we didn't have axes or crampons. The snow wasn't a problem apart from the steep descent into Corrour Bothy. I lost my nerve on the snow and ended up scrambling down very steep rocks to the side instead. But once I looked back up I saw that if I had started a bit further to the north, there would have been less snow to cover and it wasn't too steep. Conditions may have changed again by Wednesday though, so it's worth being flexible.
