Munros included on this walk: An Riabhachan, An Socach (Affric), An Socach (Mullardoch), Beinn Fhionnlaidh (Càrn Eige), Càrn Eige, Càrn nan Gobhar (Loch Mullardoch), Màm Sodhail, Mullach na Dheiragain, Sgùrr na Lapaich, Sgùrr nan Ceathreamhnan, Toll Creagach, Tom a' Chòinich

He is a Patterdale /West Highland Terrier X ...pedigree and with a mind entirely of his own ..still suffering from his travels , I reckon he covers triple what I do on a trip :D

Nice report. i like the clever move of pitching the tent first, going up and down to Fionnlaidh and leaving Eighe for the next day. 8) Puzzles, puzzles.

Well done, it's tough up there.. :D we were in the area and the Affric hills looked fab..
I loved doing the mullardoch round, took a week for it to sink in that I had actually done it :lol:

Great stuff and top effort. Would love to try this round one day but i aint getting any younger. Thought John Wayne was going to get a mention when i read the title :crazy:

20kg must have been torture though :shock:

I remember carrying 17k around fisherfields and vowed never again, ha!

Aye hard shift Doots eating frenzy first night was thinking of chucking things out as I went round ...Napoleon retreat from Moscow style .... neffer again ...aye right :D

Aye even at 48 I mind John Wayne :D .... tough Johnny but take your time you'd manage no problem ,even at your age :D

I can relate to that - had a Patterdale Terrier/Jack Russell cross as my walking companion for some time - with a respectful nod to your native language I came across a gaelic term that fitted him perfectly "mac in diabhuil" he was great fun though....sometimes. :lol:
