Took Helen & Paul up this hill as they'd never been here before. They thought I'd meant the Vorlich above Loch Earn and had been puzzled by the road I was taking. They didn't know there were two of them. It was very wet at the climb up from the road but got better higher up. I didn't get a view the first time I'd climbed this hill, so was happy to see one this time. Quite atmospheric in the varied weather with hail and showers passing by. Had lunch just off the top. Walked to the far end of the ridge to see what the path was like to Ardlui. Good view back to the tops from here too. Heavy rain on the way back down made the path a river and we avoided most of it once down from the ridge. Pretty slippy never the less.

You had the views - I had the clag when I went up (29th March)!

Beautiful pix.

When I was up here I had no fekking idea about that drop behind the top cairn - subsequent posters in the last two weeks have shown what I couldn't see in the clag, i.e. the edge and drop. I'm excited and worried about that all at the same time

We were up there yesterday as well. I must have seen you at some point.

A great day out apart from the drenching on the road back from Sloy dam
