What else can one say - Mount Keen

This was a short notice invitation - many thanks to Karen for inviting me The forecast was good so who can resist an invite onto any hill
I checked my Munro record & was quite shocked to see that I climbed it in April 2000, I do remember that it had a good path & was not difficult, apart from that I have forgotten everything else
We had arranged to meet at the car park at 9.30am. After turning off the A90 through Edzell then onto the unclassified road, I had to stop a couple of times to check the map as I seemed to be driving quite a long way & was wary of heading in the wrong direction I think it is 12 miles from Edzell, but as the road is narrowish & not built by the Romans, I couldn't even go at my usual speed
Arrived at the pleasant car park which is more than large enough for the amount of vehicles, certainly midweek & was just getting kitted out when Karen arrived & we were on our way at 9.30.
There is not much one can say about the route as the path all the way to the summit is in excellent condition & like a motorway compared to some paths. There is only one point where a decision is required as the path splits, after confirming our suspicions & checking the map we branched off to the right. It is then a straight forward route up to the summit. Here are a few photo's
If you want an easy walk, they don't come much easier than this, you don't even need boots
