I'd been planning on getting into a bit of hiking as a new hobby, so I ordered a pair of hiking boots (plus some waterproof stuff, because you never know). At 11.40 this morning, they arrived at my door. I no longer had an excuse for NOT doing a spot of trekking. Long story short - scooted of to Bin of Cullen, which is not too far away from my pad, and wandered up to the top. It wasn't as easy as I imagined, but hey ho, I've been there and done it now. No amount of looking at other folk's photos can actually prepare you for the sensation of seeing that view first hand. I anticipate more wandering up mountains as and when I can fit it into my hectic schedule.

That really does sum up why we all venture into the hills, the gain is worth the pain

This one has made me determined to do Knoydart this year

And this one inspired me to emulate the same feat.

Happy browsing, and happy walking!
