Fantastic effort and some great photos! I didn't spot the Lochan Fada artwork but the cairn close to Lochivroan was still standing when I passed that way on Wednesday morning, 21st May (no photo though as it was pouring with rain at the time!) It was a good marker for fording the river which was quite tumultuous after all the rain on Tuesday night so thank you!

Would be great to see a game England vs Germany but I am afraid when I look at the current condition of the German team that we wont make it beyond the last sixteen. I'd say Spain, Italy or Brazil will win the WM.

Great story! We were walking in knoydart around the same time you were here. And we are planning our annual trip to fisherfield this year. this really helps to get a good feel of the possibilities.
You were lucky with the gasstove by the way. Firsthand experience is they can explode. , could have been worse.

Glad you enjoyed the TR. Fisherfield is indeed a fascinating area and I can highly recommend it. Best of luck for your trip.
I'm surprised that these stove can actually explode but the hissing sound from the leaking gas convinced me to not use the stove again.
