Arran: coast to coast

Unplanned, just went where the music took me ...on the train, ferry, then bus to Sannox.
Stuck to higher ground -
Left late over Caisteal Abhail, off the shoulder at Carn Mor over to camp at the top of Beinn Tarsuinn.
Slept late.
Had a morning walk down by Loch Tanna, straight up to Beinn Bhreac, then Beinn Bharrain, and down again to Pirnmill.
12 or 13 miles? easily done in a day but camping out suits me.
Rocky tops & boggy bottoms about sums it up.
Met nobody on the hills. There was an golden eagle circling high above Glen Iorsa as I passed.
Spent an easy hour or more watching the gannets dive as I waited for the bus in Pirnmill.
