Started off at 7am from the car park at Inveruglas with my faithful dog Fraoch and headed along by the Hydrostation, up the road by the Substation and after another 1/2 mile or so headed off down the forestry Road to the left. Followed this road for another 1/4 mile or so before following the track to the right through the grass up towards the summit. The next 1/4 mile was pretty soft under foot until the ascent to the first wee shoulder. After this the going was pretty firm. Followed the path up past the 3 false summits until getting to the top. Some light scrambling at parts but easy enough with only one part that the dog needed a little assistance
Fraoch Posing on the way up
Made it!!
Fraoch and the Arrochar Alps
Had the whole hill to myself other than a few sheep. Never met anyone till about 1/2 way down so a nice quiet Sunday hillwalk. Defo a good wee climb to get the calves pumping
