Very sunny, plenty of factor 30 & 'skin so soft'.
Parked in the layby having met George, Andy & Tam at the petrol station in Callander at 6.30am.
Took my car & George's to Glencoe.
Walk up the bealach was steep on scree but once at the top, the rest of the walk was fairly straight forward.
At bealach turned left up to the summit of Stob Dearg where there is a large cairn.
Returned back down to the bealach & across a broad ridge that veers up to Stob Coire Altruim which was declassified in 1997.
The descent down was fairly steep on loose scree, onto broad ridge to final summit Stob na Brioge.
Return back down to the bealach to pick up the descent path through Lairig Gartain, there is one part that required a bit of scrambling & great care.
Great views on a a great mountain, views were excellent with no heat haze.
