The one thing I can say about Skye the worst midge yet . Met up with Jonah our guide at Glen Brittle MRC and on the go for 9am Jonah yomped us up to the Pinn pdq with a couple of breathers in between Helmets on up the dearg
The top of the hill was in clag and the Pinn was shrouded . We split into two groups Pidg Erin Ryan and Pat first . With a group on the Pinn then Pidg and another group it was an hour wait before it was our turn and to make things worse it cleared . For a man who hates heights in the words of pidg I was brickin it to many vertical drops . Me and Jim were joined by father and son duo Phil and Alan . Jonah said 4 points of contact I can assure you now my whole body was wrapped around that rock how can anything be exhilerating and frightening at the same time . The downward was quick untill I went into the cleft . Well being a fearty I was glad that was all that happened Inn Pinn done Our return route was down the Coire Then to the Old Inn for a well earned jar Many thanks to Jonah Jones for dragging our sorry as**s up there .
