Air an direach sheachdainn sa chaidh bha mi ann Gleann Sith ..... last weekend with the weather best in the East, I wandered in Glenshee for the night ,round of three from Spiddal with Carn Bhac and An Socach tagged on to make it five.

Carn Bhac was my number 200 and no I will not be revisiting her or the partner :D

This weekend I stayed in West by far and away the best :D

Lurg Mhor agus Bidean a Choire a Sheasgaich .... its no hard to pronounce unless you are completely bereft of linguistic respect so spare me the "cheesecake" .......

We set off from Attadale , two hours fifteen minutes to the Bothan at Ben Dronaig

When we set out first intention was to high camp on Lurg Mhor but a wee bit grey and breezy so an empty bothan swung it ,dumped the gear inside and made our way over to Loch Calabhie and the bealach above.

There was a clear line of weather to the North West sunshine and behind us cloud still both tops kept clear for the duration and they are a fine pair .

Gaoith air a mhullach .... windy on top ,spent 30mins eating and taking n the Sealltainn I have to say think this is a grand hill altogether.

The route down was quick and an even quicker ascent onto Bidean a Choire Sheasgaich ... That's

Bee Can ...Ah ..... Coyrah Hess Geech :D

And grand views to Torridon

We spent another 30mins on the ridge before heading down directly SW along the druim rather than dropping back onto the bealach a good choice as you keep a bit of height and the views for longer .

Back at the bothy for 8.30 so a total of 8hrs ,could have done this in a long day but it was worth the stay in the Bothy a dram ,beer and good company with Jock and two Walloons .

The return next morningtook us the same 2hrs a pleasant walk and two hills I would thoroughly recommend and aye

We will be back :D
