My 50th was next door on Buachaille Etive Beag with a can of Mcewan's Export in the clag

McEwans?? Erm, lucky you ;) I trust you've evolved somewhat since the late 80s/early 90s or whenever it was you hit your #50! :D Or maybe it's just me not liking IPA.

There was actually a Mountain Rescue helicopter circling BEM as I returned to the car, but then it headed over towards BEB and hovered there for ages.

I followed the WalkHighlands route description linked above. Was a bit awkward at times, had to drop and reascend about 40m+ of scree to get out of a hairy position. Might do a Trip Report, I have some cracking photos. :)
