That's my last 4 Fannichs to do, too! Fingers crossed I get conditions like you did :D
The cloud-spectacle is amazing, especially with sunset colours in the background.

I noticed round-leaved sundew last week in Torridon (near Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail), but they were much smaller.

Lovely time of day to do these mountains - some superb photos here from stunning landscapes / cloudscapes to the wild life. I'm very fond of the Fannichs, they're local hills so a big thank you for posting such a lovely take on them :clap: :clap:

Thank you all for your comments :D :D and for those who will visit the Fannichs soon, I hope you will have fantastic weather!! :thumbup:

@jmarkb
Many thanks for the proper name!! While checking the images from the newsletter, I thought it could not be the round-leaved version, but had no clue of the proper name!

@ spiderwebb - yes late starts are great as well- and a good excuse to all of us who don't like early morning rises :-)

@ David-Main- thank you for the bird name...I wasn't sure what it was, but loved the tactic it used to 'lead me away' from its young, which was only a few steps away from me.
