Day out with Lucas who left his car in my garage, I only needed Beinn Ime, but Lucas needed both hills so I decided to do both as well.
Parked in the car park in Arrochar & followed the path as per WH.
Not paying attention we missed the right turn for Beinn Narnain so had to head up steep grassy slope, when we reached the chimney we had snow underfoot - plenty of it, enjoyed the climb upwards.
Lucas led the way up Beinn Ime, was hard going for the final 200m as the snow was soft & deep in parts.
A bit boggy at the junction area with the Cobbler.
Was my 2nd attempt at Ime, tried a couple of weeks earlier from the Rest & be Thankful car park in drizzle, was knee deep in water when walking towards the road. Went back to the car with soaking wet feet.
