Cracking photo's.

How much traffic did you meet? I see your walk was on a Friday. Maybe weekends are best avoided on Aonach Eagach!

Thanks PA

We are going back for a 2nd lap in the next cpl weeks as although the pics we got look ok we really want to hit it on a clear day to ensure we get the views, we are now watching the mountain forecast coiled and ready to spring

We were the only ones up there until halfway across and this guy appeared from nowhere and after a few minutes chat he was gone again, vanished in the cloud and never seen again the rest of the way, so yeah it was pretty good, we had it all to ourselves. We all work shifts and have plenty of mid week days off (Only work 14 days of the month) so we benefit from that :D

After the tragic events yesterday on the Ridge I would just like to say that our thoughts are with the family of the woman who fell yesterday and lost her life, as i have said nobody understands us or our passion for what we do, that's why we will all be feeling this sad loss, may she rest in piece........

Erk, that whole thing gives me the heebie jeebies and I take my hat off to you (and anyone else) who does it. I realise I'll have to do it one day if I want to get all the Munros but I feel that day is way off in the future. You don't look too scared in the photos, though! Did it feel OK enough even though I am assuming the ground was quite damp?

Hiya,

You do not have to do the ridge to get the two munros, you can climb them both seperate and that will save you doing the ridge if it's not your thing, it felt ok initially but I have done it and have at this moment in time no feeling of great rush to get back  it's not for the faint hearted thats for sure however as your experience grows you may find in the future it's something you might want to tackle, if so make sure it is with if possible somebody that has traversed it before, read over my final summaries and take it in and let it stick because honestly I thought I was prepared..... you need to be on it to see how your gonna be. Keep in touch though and let me know your plans
