Great day forcast for Monday 28th July. Decided on the Sunday to head for the hills. Ben Lomond very busy due to the Commonwealth Games - spoke to several people who were here for the games. Another group with a couple of folk from Australia visiting mother in Glasgow. Butterfly man on way back down the alternative path along Ptarmigan ridge.
Great walk & my first solo (along with a couple of hundred others!) Munro.
Paddled in loch to finish with jammy sandwich and water instead of tea/scone.
Super day out.
