The morning’s foul weather having blown through, I decided to do a short walk late afternoon. In the event, it was rather a dull, but very easy, walk up an estate track up to the summit of Gellaig 743m. Just what was wanted really, because I'd had a very good, if very wet, walk earlier in the day. There were, moreover, good views across to the Cairngorms, and some particularly confident ptarmigan, which showed well at close range.
Weather: Perfect, dry, sunny, light breeze, excellent visibility. Quite a contrast from the morning. :)
