Saturday- Beinn Bhan and Meall a'Phubuill
Weather turned out a bit better than expected, a few showers and some strong winds at times but a good wee combination of hills. Had some fun on the dry stane dyke heading over to the second hill pretending it was a narrow ridge thousands of feet up!
Got some cracking views over to Gulvain which looked much less scary than the last time we saw it with deep snow and cornices going in all directions.....was mildly anxious that day
Got invited in for a cuppy when we came off the hill by Jimmy and Izzy the border collie and had a lovely chat and also got a copy of his book about Eddie Campbell who was a legendary hill runner who I'd met running on The Ben in 1992 (OMG), what a coincidence, a small world and all that!

Sunday- Ghlas Beinn, Meall an h-Eilde and Geal Charn (Arkaig).
Weather looked promising for about an hour then the rain started and didn't stop ALL day! Uch well nothing else to do but get on with it. Would have been nice views but had to use our imaginations today. Became a bit of a trudge for me, felt pretty tired and when reaching the non summit before Geal Charn was delighted then immediately gutted when I realised we had a good way to go yet! Eeeeek!!! :?
