Route description: Ben Avon via Gleann an-Slugain

Distance: 40 km

Ascent: 1300m

The forecasts were rubbish except for here. We were not let down. It was very windy, but mostly sunny with three bits of drizzle hardly worth mentioning. Car park to the Sneck via the fairy glen in five hours. Bhuird first the back to the Sneck and up Avon. Then the long way back. Gammy, Scottish Leaf and I. Great area and good hills that are often underrated.
