I did a hike on some easier hills in the Lake District on Sunday, eight days after getting back from Scotland, and I was still feeling the after effects then. It wasn't a particularly fast walk!

I'm sure you are fit, Ally. On a single day hill walk, you'd probably leave me standing. I could only get through those two weeks by settling into a steady plod.
