Thanks Beaner, yep I do enjoy finding alternatives within reason but that's part of the fun beforehand with the books and maps.

Nice report. Big day. Stunning views and pics. I'm toying with trying the same but in the other direction - theory being that when I'm out of gas I should at least be able to manage a long plod out. I can see the benefit of doing it your way round, though, so you can take stock near the end to decide whether to include Sgurr Mor. Thanks for the report.
