Set off up the ridge to the 823m top, it's here you first get the awesome sight of Garbh Bheinn. The walk to here was on a path with the odd wee scramble along the way. From the top there is a descent down a chimney before the climb to the summit. After the summit was reached i made my way down off the north side of the Corbett before heading for a grassy area with steep slopes down towards a Lochan. I then headed up to gain the ridge before following it to Beinn Bheag. Had lunch just off the summit before continuing to Sgorr Mhic Eacharna and the ridge back to the car.

Looks like you got a great day for it. Was up again the week previous in decent weather but less blue sky in my pics. Did these the other way round.

Cheers weather was superb, warm with next to no wind. I did consider doing them the other way round. Guess it was reasonably hard going up the ridge to the first Graham :?

Thought I'd check out what's happening on the diddy hills. looks like you had a superb day for it JC and sounds an interesting route
Nice photies except for number 14

how much was the ferry?
Did you take your car over?
did you stop overnight up there or return home all in a day?
How much ascent was it?
What's your favorite colour?

Might do these myself is I have a spare 1/2 a day I'll ask MT to take me

Hi Andy good to see you're considering these tough routes  The ferry is £7.90 each way for a 5 min crossing, the biggest rip off ever  though free for foot passengers. I used my loaf & my tightness, you'll know about that being English  & left my car as i was staying at Bunree caravan site which is 15mins walk from ferry. You been getting tuition from MT with all these question? MT will need a full day for this round  I hope i've answered all your questions, cheers

Andy im surprised JC knows the price of the Ferry. With JC being from the eastcoast the last time i was in Ardgour with him he hid in the back of the car as JimmyCragghopper paid on the way over and i paid on the way back!!
JC is your time on your report from the ferry terminal.... if so ill do it in half the time being from the westcoast as ill have my car and dont scrimp and save

Excellent pics. I love the rugged look of those hills. Definitely a route I'm filing on my to-do list.
